HICKORY GROOVES
The dimensions and profiles of Hickory Grooves are the same as our Maple Grooves. The properties and durability of hickory add a slightly heavier and denser feel, with cymbal traditional articulation. Available in the following selected models.
Hickory Grooves A – HG A
Length – 415 mm /16 3/8?
Diameter – 15 mm / .59 in.
The A Series is available in hickory in the single A dimension only. A long curved taper runs from the groove mid-point to the tip with a short curved taper from the groove mid-point to the butt-end. . This unique profile gives the stick a slightly larger diameter at the fulcrum for exceptional balance and incredible control.
Hickory Grooves Mini Bop – HG Mini Bop
Length – 405 mm /15.95?
Diameter – 14 mm/ .55 in.
This is the slimmest stick available in the B Hickory Series. It has the same diameter as a 7A with the taper with profile of our Be Bop Series. This model is available in hickory only.
Hickory Grooves B Bop – MG B Bop
Length – 400 mm / 15.75
Diameter – 15.5 mm / .61 in.
The B Bop model features a long straight taper from the tip to the butt. Precise and easy-to-control , it’s an ideal all-around lighter drumstick that’s suitable for all types of players and musical genres.
(And yes, we know the music is Be Bop! Since this stick is designed from our B Series profile we could not resist the B Bop as its title!)

Hickory Grooves C – HG C

The C Series sticks feature a curved taper from the grip to the tip and a second taper from the groove mid-point to the rounded butt. The Hickory adds a slightly heavier and denser feel, making it very suitable for heavier playing.
