Cornhuskers

The Cornhuskers are built from premium Sorghum vulgare — a variety of sorghum from Mexico, also known as broom corn. This tall grass forms broad, tasseled, fan-shaped heads ranging from 16 to 20 inches, and HeadHunters selects only the finest stalks for our Monster Hybrid line.

A 1-inch thick bundle of sorghum is taped at the grip area for a firm, solid feel in the hand, then finished with a comfortable grip over top. Two sound-shaping O-rings let you dial in spread and response. The striking end uses the thicker, stiffer strands from the stem — delivering more cymbal attack and louder definition than the Soft Corn, which uses the softer flowering end.
