The Rhinos incorporate an adjustable polycarbonate rod with a traditional non-retractable wire brush. The rod used in the Rhinos is heavier and stiffer than that of the Cyclops, with no nylon sleeves on the rod. When the rod is engaged in or impacted on rims or cymbals, the sound is very distinct. The larger rod has incredible reflex and therefore its rebound is extremely fast. The rod can be pushed in or out of the tube or removed altogether.
