Thunderclaps

The Thunderclaps are a powerful flat percussion tool comprised of 3 flaps — one stiff maple wood slat core flanked by two flexible, high-impact polycarbonate outer flaps. With a snap of the wrist, the outer flaps slap against the maple centre to produce a loud, resonant clap that cuts through any mix, on or off your percussion setup.

The maple inner slat is fitted with 4 large holes to reduce weight and maximize the volume and projection of the clap. The wider profile and larger holes of the Thunderclaps produce a lower pitch than the Drumclaps, giving you a deeper, fuller clap sound with serious presence.
